Head Coach: Bill Conley

Coach Bill Conley has a long track record of success as a coach at multiple levels. After a successful playing career at Ohio State, Conley struck out into the coaching world and began his career as a high school coach in Ohio.

After coaching high school and other jobs, Conley’s alma mater came calling. He joined the Ohio State staff for the 1984 Rose Bowl Season under Earle Bruce. He was a long-time assistant coach at Ohio State from 1984 to 1987 and again from 1992 to 2004. While at Ohio State he was the recruiting coordinator for two head coaches, John Cooper and Jim Tressel. During his time at Ohio State the Buckeyes had seven 10+ win seasons, 35 All-American Selections, 21 First Round NFL Draft Picks, and a Heisman Winner.

Conley was the recruiting coordinator throughout the Buckeyes’ run of success from the early 1990s until the early 2000s. This run of recruiting and coaching excellence speaks to Conley’s ability to find and develop talent and endeared him within the state of Ohio to fans. He carried that endearment into his first collegiate head coaching position at Division II Ohio Dominican in 2010. Taking over a team that had a storied history at the Division II level, Conley quickly made his mark taking them to a third-place finish conference finish in his second year and winning back-to-back Great Lakes Conference Championship Game Appearances in 2013 and 2014. His 2013 squad won the GLIAC and the 2014 squad made it to the Division II Quarterfinal round and finished 4th in the end-of-season poll.

Throughout his time at Dominican, his team regularly finished as a top 30 offense and defense. The balance of his teams at Ohio Dominican was clear and his ability to evaluate top Division II talent helped ODU to a run of success from 2011 to 2015. Multiple players from those teams have enjoyed careers at multiple levels of professional football

Coach Conley brings a keen eye for talent evaluation and coaching up players that will make his team competitive and able to battle in every game they are in.
